Android Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Bivex Teknoloji A.S. ("Bivex", "us", "we", or "our") operates our AI-powered mobile applications for Android devices (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

Our Privacy Policy governs your use of our Android applications, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

We use your data to provide and improve Service. By using Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

2. Definitions

SERVICE means our Android mobile applications operated by Bivex Teknoloji A.S.

PERSONAL DATA means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data.

USAGE DATA is data collected automatically either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself.

DATA CONTROLLER means a natural or legal person who determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are processed. For this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your data.

THE USER is the individual using our Service.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

4. Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or by emailing at [email protected].

Usage Data

We may also collect information that your device sends whenever you use our Service ("Usage Data").

This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), device type, device version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

5. Facial Data Usage

Collection of Face Data

We do not collect or store raw face data, such as biometric templates or full 3D scans. When you upload a photo, our system identifies facial landmarks (e.g., eyes, nose, and mouth positions) only for the brief period necessary to apply AI-driven effects. These landmarks are never linked to your identity and are removed once processing is complete.

Use of Face Data

Facial landmarks are used exclusively for AI visual transformations, such as beauty filters, face swapping, or video effects. All processing takes place securely on our servers. Once we generate the requested output, both the uploaded file and any derived landmark data are deleted.

Our app may temporarily process facial data such as facial landmarks from user-uploaded images in order to provide AI-powered visual effects. This data is used solely to fulfill the user's request and is never stored, shared, or used for user profiling.

Third-Party Sharing and Storage

We do not share any face data with external parties. All face-related processing occurs on private, secure servers within our control. Data transfers are encrypted, and no user information is transmitted, sold, or disclosed to third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep face data (including uploaded images and any associated landmarks) only as long as needed to produce the requested AI transformations—usually just a few minutes. After the final output is generated, all images and related data are promptly erased from our servers.

Uploaded images and associated metadata, including temporary face data, are automatically deleted from our servers within minutes after processing. We do not retain any facial data beyond the duration necessary to provide the requested service.

6. Use of Data

Bivex uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • to provide and maintain our Service;
  • to notify you about changes to our Service;
  • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;
  • to provide customer support;
  • to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service;
  • to monitor the usage of our Service;
  • to detect, prevent and address technical issues;
  • to provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer;

7. Retention of Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service.

8. Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

Bivex will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

9. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 13. If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
